Any idea whether any boxfishes have been successfully bred in captivity? I always have the idea that ostraciidae are hard to be bred

I don't think they ever have been. They always seemed like they would be hard to breed to me too.

I am not so sure. It seems like i have heard about this before but i am not positive. I have had your same thoughts Kiong.

HAHA, I'm really into breeding. Yea, I read it somewhere from some altas for saltwater fishes, saying that they've been bred before. And rumors had it that some public aquarium have longhorn cowfish offsprings..

Oh well, since this is the forum dedicated to cowfish!! let's start making official documentation yea.

p.s. PF is this the first forum for cowfish?

As far as i know. I mean there is that yahoo group but it isnt really a forum.

Kiong i think you should try breeding some lactoria fornasini. that would make a great article. Do you have them over there?
